The Understand Media Blog is a good place to start when looking for current and topical information about media literacy and teaching it using technology, but there are many more blogs that will also bring you more information. Below is a list of blogs we personally read on a daily basis, so we know the information is good.

Creating Lifelong Learners
This blog focuses on ways to incorporate technology in the classroom and in your everyday life. It goes beyond the basics and offers great tips for educators to use things like videos, podcasts, social networks, and other technologies to help teach about media literacy.

Change Agency
This blog has posts about technologies and teaching methods for the 21st century. There are many resources for anyone involved in teaching students using any kind of technology. There are also links to other education technology materials around the web.

Ed Tech Talk
A combination blog, live streaming show, and podcast, Ed Tech Talk is run by Los Angeles school educators who use technology in and outside the classroom. They interview other educators from around the country using the very technology they advocate: Skype, open source, Twitter, etc.

The Digital Classroom
Another great blog about using technology to help better teach students. The blog has lots of resources about teaching in the classroom, including links to articles and musings of other educators around the web. This is a great way to keep up with the latest in the world of educational technology.

Reflection 2.0
The blog contains musings about the way technology has changed our lives and the way we teach children. The author is introspective on many topics related to the power of the internet, the usefulness of blogs, and the upsides and downsides (with workarounds) of technology in the classroom.
