This week I watched the riveting debate between conservative spokeswoman Tomi Lahren and Comedy Central's Trevor Noah. This debate was riveting and fascinating. It really grabbed my attention. I have never been a fan of Tomi Lahren. She is extremely popular through the media for making quasi-racist comments and coming across as extremely ignorant. She was a die hard Trump supporter after Mark Rubio left the election. Her videos have generated mass viewers for whatever reason. In my opinion, Trevor Noah really asked her some questions that she clearly had a difficult time answering.
One of these questions was her opinion on what Black people should be doing to protest because she is so anti the black lives matters movement. She says that all people in Black Lives Matter are militant and do not support a good cause. She really couldn't answer this question and seemed to continue to dodge it. It seemed like Trevor Noah really was geniunely asking her what on earth she thought they could do to get the change that they were looking for. She really seemed to not be able to come up for an answer for it. It seems like he really made her question what she stood for because she was incapable of coming up with answers.
Being the Trump supporter she is, it really does make me wonder if there will be a change in the media. She has such a strong voice now as being on the side of politics that won the election. It scares me because when we seem to be getting more liberal as a country we always back fire and end up segregated. I think that questioning the people with more closed minded thought patterns will help to change the future hopefully.

I also saw this interview and it was almost cringe worthy to watch in some parts. Trevor Noah really hammered on the questions, and I feel as though people were waiting for this kind of moment where Tomi Lahren was put in her place. Trevor really made her look stupid in some parts, like the part you mentioned where she was unable to come up with an answer as to how black people should protest since all the ways they are protesting now were wrong in Tomi's eyes. Her opinions and what she says on her show are really offensive, and it's no surprise that she would be a Trump supporter. I really enjoyed this interview, and I think Tomi Lahren should be put in her place more often.

I only saw a couple of clips of the debate but I agree with you. I don't think Tomi Lahren is an idiot, nor do I think Trump is an idiot. You have to have some sort of intellect to be on their level of success but both of them failed in the debates. I mean that in the most honest/non-biased way.

Lahren failed to answer any questions regarding the BLM protests. She had no solution, only criticism. Trump's debate skills had a similarity where he not only failed to answer a lot of questions asked by the moderators, he had the tendency to turn the topic around to something completely unrelated (like the emails). I just think that as the more progressive party, the Democrats are on a platform of issues that make more sense in my opinion. Put an educated democrat and an educated republican on a debate stage and I still feel that the Republican side will have more criticism with less solutions.

I saw this video and I thought that it was really good. Trevor Noah always has great content for his viewers. I thought Trevor was very respectful and he was genuinely interested in what Tomi had to say. I'm not at all surprised that Tomi Lahren is a Trump supporter. I love how Trevor handled the whole conversation.
