One of my other passions that I follow on a day-to-day basis is the world of soccer. Not so much the politics behind it, but more so the actual games themselves. However, it would be silly for me to not follow such controversy when it happens. Soccer is filled with so much controversy politics-wise. And it just sparked up a new topic again.

Sepp Blatter, the four-time elected president of the world soccer federation of FIFA, has been elected for his fifth term just a couple of days ago. Blatter had beat out his rival, the Jordanian Prince Ali Bin al-Hussein, by 133 votes to 73, practically a 60 point difference. This statistic would have been enough to force a revote, but al-Huessein pulled out of the competition. Blatter is now 79, meaning that this term will finish when he's 83. Hold on now, something's not right here.

Sepp Blatter is the man responsible for so much corruption in FIFA recently. For the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, he ordered that new stadiums be built all over the country, including in the middle of The Amazon.... THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON! It was not possible to get to this stadium by car, only by plane or boat. So why would they build a new stadium that would not be able to be used again for any event other than something special enough to fly to? Obviously money is involved, but that isn't a justifiable reason. Even more so when so many innocent construction workers had died in the building of all the new stadiums. And it has been already confirmed that the 2022 World Cup will be in Qatar, probably the smallest country they could possibly choose, because of the value that Qatar would pay to FIFA to host the World Cup. It has also already been confirmed that that World Cup will have to be moved to the Winter, since Qatar generally has record-breaking heat in the summer. Again, obviously money is swayed in this decision, but haven't people realized that he's ordered such stupid decisions? Why would they want him back? And in his 80's? He's probably going to go senial or something! Just kidding, that's mean. But my point stands strong.

I completely agree, FiFA, and everyone inside the "non-profit" organization, needs to really step their game up if they are gonna gain approval in any sense. I think what they have been doing, unrecognized, has been not only hurting the people that host the games, but hurting everyone else associated with it. It's a good thing Seth Bladder was finally arrested because it shows that there're changes to come. He was almost about win again, and how he won the previous elections is almost criminal, if not criminal. He ran once, unopposed, because the people affiliated with FIFA wanted to profit from the games and wanted nothing to change. I think the whole organization needs a face lift and then only would I ever think about supporting their organization. I also hope that they find somewhere else to host the next world cup, because it would show that things are headed in the right direction.

I think they have been doing, is not recognized, has not only hurt the Olympic Games, but hurt everyone else associated with it. This is a good thing, Seth bladder finally arrested, because it shows that is changing to. He had almost won again, and how he won the last election almost a crime, if not a crime. He ran a no objection, because belonging to people who want to profit from the FIFA game, you want to change anything.
