The concern and fright of many people have rose in the most recent appearances of clowns walking down the streets with or without balloons. This has spark a huge alert because many of these clown sightings are happening during the night and are terrifying people that walk down the streets at those hours. The appearances of these clowns have started on the East side of the United States and has been reported in many states across the country. California is now one of the states of which people are reporting these clowns sightings, in which it got me concerned about the reports I've seen on the news in the television.
Just now, one of the recent sighting happened in the California State University of Northridge where a clown had chased down two students. The was another report where someone saw a clown near an elementary school that many parents got worried and were forced to take their children out of class. I find this scary and crazy how someone is dressing as a clown to terrorize people and have begun to go to school campuses to do so. Its just not one person but multiple people. Now that it's close to Halloween, I think that many people are going to be more aware and be skeptical about people dressing up as clowns.
I find it interesting how this clown sighting has crossed many states and many people are now dressing up to scare people. There was another report in which a person dressed as a clown tried to lure children into the woods during late hours. People need to be aware of this happening because many do not know the intentions that these people dressed as clown have.

That's funny because I just made a post similar to yours. I agree with you it's kin of scary, and it'a mostly scary because the news isn't reporting whether thsee clowns are dangerous individuals or not. I mean if theyou were just friendly people showing their Halloween spirit then I would be a little less scared. I would see it a little funny in a way. I think I would be scared if some clown chased me, but now thinking about it I also think I would laugh once I tel my friends about what happened. If it is just a prank to make people have that fun scared feel g than by all means. It would be like a free universal studios trip, but I think this should all be done at least 2 days before Halloween because earlier than that just seems to creepy, stressful, and disturbing. I mean if they where to apologize and hug me after the scare I wouldn't mind much.

George, I agree with you. I find it extremely creepy and frightening. I was thinking about this the other day, and was actually wondering myself how many people would be discouraged to dress up as clowns this Halloween. I definitely don't think it's okay to be dressing up and terrorizing people. I didn't know that this "trend" had made its way to California, and found out through your post. It's scary that people are actually copying this and doing this in different parts of the U.S. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Hello George, I completely agree with you. I think is immensely scary and creepy the clown trend. When I read two days ago that the clowns have been reported in California I got goose bumps just to think that they are closer to me than before. I really do not understand and really confuses me, why are they going to campuses and schools. I am currently enrolled in two schools, one of them being UCLA which in my opinion is an iconic university here in Cali and I think there are many possibilities for them to show up there.

Our world feels sometimes as a very unrealistic place, how crazy is to see creepy clowns in the streets and to turn on the news and see more clowns, it seems like a horror movie to me.
At first, I thought the clown trend was some kind of protest, or a political movement, publicity stunt or whatever, but now I am concerned because I am pretty sure that there are people that are going to take advantage of being in the Halloween month to make a lot of pranks dressed as clowns. Although that would be very scary, they would not be violating any law.
The second thing scares the hell out of me is that this is a perfect scenario for real crazy people to dress as a clown and commit crimes.

I've been hearing a lot about this recently. I think that there is something wrong with the people who are doing this. Eventually, someone who is dressed like a clown will get seriously hurt. Somebody is going to make this whole situation a bigger problem than it should be. I hope that nobody gets hurt and this whole situation goes away soon.

Hey George, I do think the clown situation is really creepy but there have been some funny things come out of them. There was this really awesome prank on youtube where this girl in san diego pranked her boyfriend with her dads help. If you want to see it you can check out Brawadis on youtube. There have been memes and tweets and so many things going around on twitter and they are pretty funny. I heard the clowns are usually in a wooded area, parking lots or parks so I have stayed away from all of those recently.
