How to spend a time on Christmas, I thought that would be depending on a person, but it might be depending on culture too. When I talked with my classmates about what we did in last Christmas, they were so surprised the answer of mine. I'm originally from Japan, so I was there last year. Japanese people cerebrate the day by decorating the house, placing the tree with a lot of lights, and buying gifts for their families or partners, I think that's same everywhere. However, In Japan, the day of Christmas is almost for couples. If you go out, there are only couples that walking the street, eating dinner at restaurant, or watching decorated light of the town. I didn't have anyone last year, so I was hanging out with my friends but not outside, staying home, eating dinner and watching tv. The reason I wasn't going out, because I would feel so lonely, and it would be kind of weird that if I was walking with my girls in the town with a bunch couples. That is not only for me, for almost everyone. How about your hometown?

Hello, awesome discussion. My friends and I hang out and go to the movies on Christmas day. Its always a good movie that is released on that day, so we meet for a light lunch and then catch an early movie and be back home before too late at night. I used to stay inside too but with so many single friends, we decided to make our own tradition for the holiday. Some people cook for the family, some hang out with the kids while they play with their new toys. I would like to say I enjoy the holidays because there are so many different traditions in the world.
