The United States is pushing more and more students to go to school but over the last several years, they are making it increasingly more difficult for potential students to do so because the cost of tuition has gone up immensely. Why push for people to go to school if you're going to make it much more difficult?
I personally think the United States has the worst medical and education program in comparison to many European countries. We are paying high taxes but it isn't giving us health or educational benefits. Health and education in Europe are free. Yes, you pay a lot higher in taxes but you actually get something out of it. I feel like not only are we paying high in taxes here in the U.S. but that money is being put towards things that aren't really helping us.
Of course, this is my biased opinion as I have lived in Europe and am currently living in the U.S.
