This week I watched a pretty funny movie on Netflix; it is called “No Men Beyond This Point” it is a fictional film made to appear as a documentary film. It is a movie about a time in the future when women become parthenogenetic. Meaning women do not need to have an egg fertilized by a sperm and resulting in women becoming pregnant without intercourse and without a male. These asexual pregnancies always result in the birth of a female because there is no Y chromosome involved.
In the film the plot is about the youngest man on earth in a time when men are on the verge of extension. This man works in the home two women who are raising their six daughters together. Women in this time are mostly all lesbian and the thought of being with a man becomes repulsive. All the men in the world are older and the government (made up of all female leaders) sends all the men to “male sanctuaries” where men are fed and taken care of but excluded from the rest of society. The new female government is ready and eager for the extinction of men but there is one woman who is not so convinced on the benefit of men becoming extinct.
