Hi Alyssa, I could not have put my feelings into better words. You hit most points that I had regarding the results of the election. Ultimately, I'm embarrassed that Trump was even allowed to be president. He has absolutely no experience in politics, his business are either corrupt, failed and bankrupt, or fraud, and he has discriminated against and targeted most minorities. This election has been one of the worst in my opinion. I am terrified of what will happen as a result of Trump's actions, behavior, and policies. I am scared for all of the groups that Trump has targeted such as women, Latinos, and people of color to name a few. However, I am hoping that more people get involved with politics and make more effort to make changes such as peaceful protest or petition and not just be upset.

Hello Alyssa.
I strongly support your opinion about Trump. Many people around the states and world are disgusted, scared, horrified for Trump winning the next president of the United States. Trump has been accused of being terrible sexist and racist. I am not fan of Trump and also Hillary Clinton. To me, it is really stupid that people hate Trump when they don't know what Trump is trying to do for this country. I agree that he is racist and sexist. But, we should realize that Trump will give American much more opportunities to the Top, middle, and lower class. He is not only going to reduce the tax tremendously but also he has a plan to provide much more cheaper health care fees. Also, getting Tremendous money from South Korea for protecting their country and building a wall between U.S and Mexico boarder line to stop illegal immigration. And, most important thing that he prioritize is national security from the ISIS. Also, at the same time, he has better chance of bringing economic better than Hilary Clinton. It's over and finished. we have to accept Trump. Why don't we look at brighter side of him instead of looking at terrible side.

So many people seem to be blown away by the results of the election until I cant help but to wonder if Trump bought the election. Unless their are hoards of people who secretly voted for Trump and dont want to let others know, something is wrong with his victory.

This goes kind of in line with what Minjung said. I have a Taiwanese friend who I talk to about the election and he says that he and his family have no problem with Trump. For one reason or another, their media hasn't painted him in the light that the american media has, and while I'm unsure as to exactly why that is, I do know that we need to give him a chance and see if his policies will actually make the job market better. Only time will tell really, unless he does something stupid and get's impeached before his 4 years are up.

Thanks for your post Alyssa. I couldn’t agree more with you. I was in total shock when I found out the results. We were told time and time again that the polls had Hillary in the lead and I guess we all believe it. In my statistics class, the teacher asked us “How did the polls get it so wrong?” And like you said, many of us concluded that people were afraid to say that they were voting for Trump so they just said Hillary or one of the independents. If that is true, that they were embarrass to say Trump, then that pretty much says that they admit he is saying horrible thing. It’s not just the verbal insults that throw me off but also that he doesn’t have any experience in politics, has gone bankrupt in some of his business, and has many lawsuits against him. If he can’t run a business properly, how can he run a country? I know people would rather want Trump than Clinton as their president even with no experience because these are the two options they have to choose from but there were also other Republican candidates in the running who did have experience. I think it would’ve lessen the blow of him being our president elect if he wasn’t so nasty during his campaign. I know both of them were throwing back and forth insults but at least with Clinton, I knew were she stood on policies and explained them well. Trump wouldn’t really specify on his policies. He would also resort to name calling. Seriously? I hate how divided this election has made us but hopefully in the long run, we will find a common ground.
