The Opposition to Trump's Administration

After Trump's election win Sean King, a writer for NY Daily News wrote an article titled We Should Not Wait and See What A Trump Administration Does?, wherein he discusses how the impossible presidential win for Donald Trump happened, and how many people were not prepared for this to happen. One reason is that the media and Democrats underestimated the power of Trump’s audience. King encourages people to, “mobilize our opposition to him. We should be protesting and planning fresh boycotts of Donald Trump and everything he touches”.
In agreement with King, I believe people against Trump have got to use their intellect, social position, platforms, and creativity to contest and fight back against Trump’s future plans to further divide this country. It seems to me that people who are concerned with the future of this country should attempt to remove the electoral college from the presidential voting process because it does not reflect the populous vote, especially because Clinton won the popular vote by a very large margin. Secondly, more people should get involved in public offices to be able to make changes from within the system, and potentially stop prejudiced laws from being enacted in this country. Lastly, since America can still look forward to midterm elections, democrats should be looking to put more representatives into the House and Senate seats which can help to create a real force against potential Trump policies that could hinder the American public.
