Every time I watch the news now they keep reporting about police brutality. I understand why it's bad for a police to kill/shoot someone without a valid reason. I understand how scary it can be to imagine that someone that is suppose to protect is the one hurting the people you know and love. The things that I don't understand are the Riots that are happening due to the police brutality. People are resulting to violence to speak out against violence? I don't understand how that makes any sense.

I'm not talking about the people who are peacefully protesting to gain awareness. These people are fine and have a right to stand for what they believe in. It's a good way to let people know that you care and that there needs to be change in how things are being done. There needs to be stricter requirements for being a police officers if the people we are currently hiring can not handle the stress that comes with being an officer. If cops are shooting people for no real reason then there needs to be a change on how we evaluate what's good enough for someone to be a cop.

Now the part I don't understand are the people who are destroying their own city or town to riot for the injustice. Why are they robbing their own neighborhood and trashing the place that they live? Since when does two wrongs make a right? Seeing the after math of the riots that been happening just makes me sad. I just feel bad for the people who are trying to protest because they just get group together with the people who result in violence. There were also one where snipers were killing cops in a police brutality protest.

Hi Krisakorn, I totally agree with you. I don't understand why people are rioting and destroying there own city, but I think it is only to get attention. Unfortunately, there are better ways to raise awareness for what is going on, but the media feeds off the riots and they get attention that way.
