Jessie Williams is one of my favorite actors because I absolutely love Greys Anatomy. Jessie Williams received an award at the BET awards for his Humanitarian work. Jessie Williams is a strong activist for the Black Lives Matter movement. His acceptance speech completely touched me. He really was humbled and discussed the issues at hand when it comes to the rights of Black Americans. I think it is amazing to see an actor so passionate about human rights.

Jessie talked about how racism is still so prevelant and how racism has hit so many lives of men who have been shot. He brought up their names and talked about what their families have lost. He motivated the humans in the room. He really talked about people needing to understand the years of oppression that the Black community has faced. He really talked about how white America has continously diminished the african american community. He really moved everyone in that room.

Jessie is an example of a person who is a leader who is trying to get people into action. He wants his voice heard and is motivating and inspiring others. It brings more people together to help people and wants to change the way America is structured when it comes to the way it treats African American communities. I loved that he talked about African American woman and how important they are and how much the mean to their community. He really discussed that he wants to be apart of a movement where people stop facing oppression.
