On Wednesday April 13th, 2016 will be Kobe Bryant's last game of his NBA career. Nike has made Wednesday Mamba day in honor of the Black Mamba himself. Nike athletes from all sports will wear black and gold shoes to honor one of sports greatest champions and competitors. It will be a very sad but happy day on Wednesday. Sad because the NBA is losing one of its great players. But happy because we were able to witness and were spoiled with such great play by Kobe Bryant.

What an amazing career this guy has had. It is one of the highlights of our generation, to witness such a dedicated player. It was such an amazing game full of excitement. He seemed so happy and ready to move on. I am glad that he decided to retire at this time, and glad he didn't get hurt again.

It's sad to see (magic's words) the greatest to wear the purple and gold leave the basketball world. But you cannot be mad at the way the Mamba ended it. 60 big ones. And the way he handled the post-game conference. So Mambaesque. May God bless him and his family, and may his legacy live on.

I remember me, my friends and family got together at my house and we experienced watching this game it was a very sad thing to see because we knew that the NBA was saying goodbye to a great player. It sucks how we wont be able to ever see him play again but we are happy for all of his achievements. He was a great player and that last game he gave for us to watch was priceless. Mamba day will live forever and I hope Kobe nothing but the best in his life because he has it well deserved.
