In this week's news, I heard a new story about Samsung's Galaxy phones exploding in people's pockets. A high schooler was sitting in class when unexpectedly his phone burned up and the battery blew up. It's scary to think that your phone can suddenly burn up right in your pocket and put your safety at risk. As an investor in these Galaxy phones, you expect your needs to be met and to get your money's worth. You don't expect them to malfunction and get burned by it.
Samsung has been a tough competitor to Apple and have come out with similar models like the iPhones. Both phones have similar features, but it appears as though Samsung has made a big mistake with the recent models of the Galaxy. Maybe Samsung has focused too much on trying to beat Apple and coming out with fancier phones that they have not realized all the technical difficulties that come with it. I wonder what's happening with the new Galaxy batteries that's making them explode while they charge or even just in someone's pocket. They have recalled all of the newest phones that they have created, but now the older versions seem to be malfunctioning.
After hearing about everything that's been happening with the Galaxy phones, it kind of makes me worry about my phone and every other phone doing the same thing. I don't know if my iPhone could explode any minute, just like Samsung customers don't expect their phones to blow up. As one of the most popular phone industries, Samsung should make sure that their products are safe to use and that their services are efficient to keep consumers happy. Someone can get severely hurt one of these days because of these phones. I hope they stop selling Galaxy phones until they fix this problem.
