I have been watching Casey Neistat’s videos for quite a while now and I find his videos to be somewhat inspiring. Casey may not sound like the brightest person, but he has managed to do really cool thinks and become someone influential. In the video, he shows himself going to Africa which I never imagine myself going. However, he has changed my mind, and him talking about the devil’s pool really excites me. By the way, the devil’s pool is on top of this giant water fall and it’s this pool of water that’s near the drop of the fall. Somehow, hanging inside the devil’s pool doesn’t result in one plunging into one’s death.
Anyway, I really like his spontaneous ways because I, too, am very spontaneous. However, in the video, when he went to Africa to climb on of the tallest mountains, he had no preparation and I love it. What’s even more funny is that they had no idea how to climb the mountain, so they asked strangers to help them climb it. Even more fascinating is that the guys helping him climb the mountain, they paid them to help them climb it and they were responsible with the food with not refrigeration. The meat had flies all over it when they went to go buy it. I think it’s quite the adventure. I would probably complain like crazy about the situation such as the food and the physical conditions, but I think I would have a lot of fun.
He also talks about climbing the second highest mountain on Earth. Even though he got really sick while climbing the mountain, and even though he stupidly risked death, he still climbed all the way to the summit. One has to understand the altitude sickness and the coldness. It sounds like an amazing experience even if you get sick. What’s even more awesome is that he became like brothers, friendship wise, with a complete stranger he met in Africa because of climbing the mountain in Africa and Chile. He really does inspire me to get out there into the far distant world instead of staying at home all day.
