Well in sports this week was the start of the 2016 NBA finals and it was quite a start to the finals. The same rivalry from the east, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and from the west, the Golden State Warriors. In 2015, the Warriors defeated the Cavaliers winning their 1st NBA championship. This week on Wednesday June 1, 2016 was the first game of the series and it was to be started in the defending champion’s court. Golden State definitely represented their champion title. Ever since the first quarter had begun Golden State had been dominating the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers had been a little competitive amongst the first half of the game, but then once the second half had taken off the Warriors took off. The Warriors ended up taking the game 104-89. After the first game I thought at least the Cavaliers would step up their defense and hopefully make the gap tighter between the Warriors in the second game. Well the second game just happened and it is over. Very over for the Cavaliers. If you thought the Cavaliers learned from the first game, well then explain the Warriors dominating 110-77 in the second game. Making the 2016 score 2-0 for Golden State as they head to Cleveland.

I personally want Golden State to win. I think that they deserve to be exactly where they are and they have worked their hardest to get there. It is interesting to me how the match ups work. When it came to Oklahoma City the Warriors had great trouble in beating them and and advancing to the finals. However, for some reason now they are in the finals and having a rather easy time. I actually kind of wondered if something needs to change in the way they determine who goes to the finals. After some thought I realized that that they do it, is the best way because there is no other organized and fair way to go about it.
