Wikis provide people with an easy way to collaborate and share information online. The key component of wikis is that it allows anyone to contribute to the collective knowledge on any topic. Anyone can add or modify the information in given topic. Of course, this fact means that people should be sure the information they're reading is accurate by verifying it with another source.
